Giancarlo Stanton flew out to right before Anthony Rizzo struck out swinging to end the inning. That’s a double whammy for New York, which not only didn’t score but will need the bottom of the order to get the rally started next inning.< cafe casino log in /p>
• The Dodgers and Yankees had a World Series preview June 7-9 at Yankee Stadium, with Los Angeles winning two of the three games. Teoscar Hernández had a go-ahead, two-run double in the 11th inning of the first game, a 2-1 Dodgers win, then hit two homers in an 11-3 rout the next night. The Yanks salvaged the finale with a 6-4 win, powered by Trent Grisham’s three-run homer off Tyler Glasnow.
But as the Series shifts to the Bronx for Game 3 on Monday night at Yankee Stadium, with the Dodgers up 2-0 in the best-of-seven, the big stars are faced with big questions — about Ohtani’s availability and Judge’s invisibility.
Game around the world
Around the World is a casual basketball game played with any number of players. You can even play it by yourself to test your shooting skills and endurance. The goal of the game is to make a series of consecutive shots from designated locations on the court. To play, start with the ball near the right block and shoot a short-range jump shot or lay the ball up. Then, step outside of the arc near the corner baseline and shoot a 3-point shot. If you make it, take the ball and move roughly 6 feet or so to your left and shoot another 3-pointer from behind the arc. Continue this process by working your way around the 3-point line and finish with a shot near the baseline on the other side of paint. Most Around the World circuits include 10 shots or more. If you miss a shot, start over. You win if you make it all the way around court. You can put your own spin on the game by changing the locations of each shot as well. A lot of players will move to the free throw line or the top of the key when they get to the top of the arc, for example. So long as the locations for each shot are predetermined and you work your way around both sides of the court by hitting consecutive shots, it counts! To learn how to add different types of shooting to the game to work on other skills, keep reading!
In 2003, JumpStart Around the World was re-released with JumpStart Advanced 2nd Grade 3-disc sets as JumpStart Advanced 2nd Grade: Field Trip Adventure. This release included all of the extended content on the disc, which previously had to be downloaded. This release actually included all content for all grade levels, but by default assigns the player to second grade, meaning that only the second grade is accessible from the disc normally. Accessing the other grades can only be done by modifying the disc contents.
This game has always stressed me out because of several reasons: 1) Having to move around with the students to show the cards and not being able to really monitor the whole class. 2) Students shouting out a bunch of different answers just to try to be first. 3) Having to wait so long until a student finally makes it back to their original seat.
Good news! You don’t need any supplies for this game. That’s what makes it perfect for an indoor setting, as much as for the outdoors. You can play ‘Around the world’ in team buildings, campings, on holidays, during friendly gatherings, as a means of getting to know each other better, and even on Facetime, as a virtual game. Once you have the players, you’re good to go.
This spelling twist on the game of basketball requires a small hoop, which you can find at a dollar store and mount on your whiteboard. Most are available with suction cups, so they can easily be removed. You’ll also need a small ball that can fit in the hoop, plus your spelling word list!
Games are a fun and important method for helping students practice skills and remember facts in the classroom. You can read more about that in my post: Why is Active Learning Important? Here is one game that I’ve used in multiple subject areas.
When is the next game world series
“Obviously, we’re in a tough position,” Cole had said prior to the 11-4 victory at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night, “but there’s a lot of baseball left to be played and anything can happen. We’re excited to get back out there. Hey, we’re still in the World Series. Hey, we’re in the Bronx. We’ve still got a shot at this thing.”
Against Cole, the Dodgers will roll out the same nine players they did in Game 1 and have throughout most of the World Series. The only change for Game 5 is in the bottom third of the lineup, where Tommy Edman has been bumped up to seventh and is followed by Will Smith and Gavin Lux.
“I feel great, I feel great,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. “It’s about the guys that you have available. They’re all rested. So we have guys that can do up/down. So where we’re at , knowing there’s an off-day , we’re in a great spot with leverage relievers.”

Who is hot and who is not?Dodgers: Freeman continues his dominant World Series run, hitting a homer in all four games against the Yankees. The star first baseman has now hit a homer in six consecutive games in the Fall Classic, a new record. He also has 10 RBIs in the four games. If the Dodgers wrap it up, Freeman will likely be taking home his first World Series MVP trophy.
