Savage confirmed on November 5 they were no longer working on the game due to conflicts of Vivendi-Universal not providing funding to Savage. On November 19, a Universal spokesperson reportedly told a Jurassic Park fansite that progress on the game would continue with a different developer, with an expected release sometime in 2002. According to Universal: “We simply weren’t happy with the progress of the game and we felt that it deserved more time with a new developer”. The website was later asked to remove the quote, as Universal claimed it was “not an official statement”.

2001 world series 7 game
The New York Yankees on November 4, 2001, were one game from winning their fourth consecutive World Series and their fifth in six years.1 With New York City still shaken by the events of September 11, the Yankees had fought their way through the postseason, providing their city and fans some relief from the devastation.
With the Yankees ahead 2–1 in the bottom of the eighth, manager Joe Torre decided to relieve setup man Mike Stanton, who had got the last two outs, to his ace closer Mariano Rivera for a two-inning save. Rivera struck out the side in the eighth, including Arizona’s Luis Gonzalez, Matt Williams, and Bautista. Although he was effective in the eighth, this game would end in the third ninth-inning comeback of the Series.
The bases were loaded, but Joe Torre pulled his infield in to cut the run down at the plate. In a similar situation in Game 5 in the 11th inning he had played the infield back at double-play depth, which allowed second baseman Alfonso Soriano to snare Reggie Sanders’ bases-loaded line drive.
Jorge Posada’s leadoff home run off of Brian Anderson in the second put the Yankees up 1–0. The Diamondbacks loaded the bases in the fourth on two walks and one hit before Matt Williams’s sacrifice fly tied the game. Bernie Williams hit a leadoff single in the sixth and moved to second on a wild pitch one out later before Posada walked. Mike Morgan relieved Anderson and struck out David Justice before Scott Brosius broke the tie with an RBI single. That would be all the scoring as Morgan and Greg Swindell pitched the rest of the game for the Diamondbacks. The Yankees cut Arizona’s series lead to 2–1 with the win.
