It’s so important to know the world we live in. But it’s so huge! There are so many countries, cities, flags, rivers, seas and more than 7 billions of people. Do everyone know all countries of the world? Probably not 🙂 Some people even don’t know neighboring countries.
And I understand why. Sometimes learning is too complicated or a geography teacher is too boring at school 🙂 But let’s change it, let’s make geography interesting. That’s why playGeography.com was created.
Customers have mixed opinions about the country information in the game. Some mention it includes every official country and has a lot of information about each one. Others say the map is bad, missing tons of countries, and has just numbers on it.

When the successor shows were announced, the Wiki of Westeros asked Martin if the prequels can use this opportunity to update the world maps used in the TV series to match the updated Lands of Ice and Fire version, and he replied “I would vote for that, certainly.”

One of the greater mysteries left unexplored by both the books and the Game of Thrones TV series is the easternmost region of Essos, known only as the Further East. HBO’s show doesn’t go into great detail about this region outside of the first few seasons when Dany is bouncing around the Red Waste and Qarth, but the mysterious cities of Asshai and Yi Ti are both mentioned a few times. Yi Ti is located due east of the Red Waste and the Bone Mountain Range, and it’s bordered to the south by the Jade Sea, which also serves as Qarth’s southern border. Asshai is located on the southeast shore of the Jade Sea, and both cities are characterized by their advanced age and exotic cultures, although not much else is revealed about them in the Game of Thrones books. Asshai is typically associated with more mysticism than Yi Ti and was the childhood home of Melisandre and presumably where she received her training to be a priestess of the Lord of Light. It’s possible we’ll get to see more of these regions in House of the Dragon.
Most of the storyline is centered in the continent of Westeros, thus the worldview given to the audience is only the narrow perspective of the medieval population living there. Their society has not explored and mapped out the entire world. Much of the eastern continent of Essos is known fairly well to them through trade contact, but even so, the edges of their maps are simply blank space waiting to be filled in. George R.R. Martin has stated that his medieval fantasy world is based on specifically medieval Europe, thus most of the continents and inhabitants are loosely analogous to Europe in the Middle Ages.

1) Can Cole come through again?Let’s face it. The Yankees should have won Game 1. This series should be tied! In that first game, Cole did exactly what the Yankees hoped he would do, back when they committed $324 million to him as a free agent before the 2020 season. He handed the bullpen the game with a lead and looked like the ace he has been most of his career. Now they simply need him to go out and do it again to keep their season alive.
